Students received course cards for the 2014-2015 school year during period 1 classes on Friday, February 28. Students are selecting their core courses as well as ranking their top 3 elective choices for next year. Course cards should be returned to the front desk no later than Wednesday, March 5. Your input, opinions and ideas matter to us! We’re Strengthening the Paths to Success and we need your help. Please take a moment to participate in the District’s annual parent survey.
This year, the survey is easier than ever to complete. It’s online, anonymous and only takes a few minutes. You can access the survey by logging onto the District’s website, www.browardschools.com from your computer, tablet or smart phone, and then clicking on the Annual Customer Survey Strengthening the Paths to Success icon. The survey takes place from February 17 – March21, 2014.

Saturday Success Camp
Lauderhill 6-12 students are encouraged to participate in our Saturday Success Camp. We will be focusing on Reading & Math for remediation & enrichment! There will be incentives provided for all students that participare. Click here to view the flyer and sign up!

Teachers Teaching Out-of-Field
Our professional teachers are continuously working on professional development to develop their teaching skills and increase their levels of content expertise. We are recognizing teachers at Lauderhill 6-12 who are expanding their expertise beyond their current certification by pursuing college coursework and/or training sessions to become certified or endorsed in another/other subject(s).
In order to remain in this/these assignment(s), the teacher(s) will successfully complete required training within 12 months of the assignment or, if teaching the primary English or Reading class to identified limited English proficient students, in accordance with the Multicultural Education training Advocacy (META) timeline.
